November Letter

 Dear Family & Friends,

Hello everyone! This month had some pretty fun events. Firstly, we went to a Thanksgiving party at my cousins' house. I ate a lot of fruit and rolls, and drank a lot of Martinelli's. We went down into their fun basement and hung out. It was pretty fun. Sadly, no turkey bowl this year.

This year, my dad wanted a real tree. We went to this cool tree lot near our house It was the really sweet family business. They sold trees, hot cocoa, and some little decorations. It was a lot more fun than going to a parking lot to get our tree.

This month was also my dad's birthday month! He certainly told us that a lot. I "chose" to get him a soft shackle. We ate some good food and sang happy birthday to him. Then we played some games. It was a lot of fun.

Welp. That's the highlights of my November. Bye!

October Letter

 Dear Family & Friends,

Hello everyone. This month, I made beef wellington. It is the most delicious thing I've ever had, (besides our burgers). It was a pretty difficult cook but pretty fun. Dad sure loved it. I loved it as well. I also loved the dishes I had to do afterward.

Me, Nick, my dad, and my neighbors drove up a mountain to a cool radio tower. I drove up in a side by side. It was fun, but it was a little scary at times. The view was incredible. It was fun to chill with Nick in the ac and songs.

We had some fun Halloween adventures. We went to a corn maze with food, bounce pads, and zip lines. We had some fun and got some donuts. The corn maze was pretty fun as well. They also had these cool pedal cars but they were all broken so yah. I also helped Sam cut a cool pumpkin. He wanted it to be very scary. I dressed up as Bob Ross. I made that costume the day before Halloween. Yah, I'm quite the procrastinator.

Well. I want to keep this short because I have a mountain of dishes I have to do before I can go to bed.  Bye! Love, Kyle Patrick Barnhisel

September Letter

 Dear Family & Friends,

Hello everyone. This month was really eventful. We went to Swiss Days and watched a parade. We ate some food, and looked at some cool shops. We also bought some more Dowdle puzzles. I also took Sam to the bounce houses.

I am doing good in school. Right now I am trying to get 100% in all my classes. I am so close. My soccer season is going well. We are 3-2 right now. Bye!

August Letter

 Dear Family & Friends,

Hello. We had two tournaments this month. The first tournament we were the first loser. We lost in the finals due to some unfortunate own goals. The second one we won by a landslide. We didn't get scored on the entire tournament. We got some pretty cool medals and it was a lot of fun.

I went to Beaver with Keller. We stayed at a really nice cabin with lots of fun activities. We had a hot tub, a pool table, ping pong, and a foosball table. We did a lot of four-wheeling and some fishing. The highlight of my trip was eating a delicious burger. It was a lot of fun. We went to the old scout camp and climbed around. It was dangerous, and fun!

Uhhhhhhhhh. School started. School isn't bad, but its certainly not fun. I don't really have any classes I like, but I have a lot of friends in all the classes, so I'm good. First year of high school. Even though I'm still at the Jr. High. I'm getting good grades so far, we'll see how long that lasts. Sadly school isn't free anymore. I am starting to go to the gym after school though, so that's a plus side.

Lots of cousins came over this month. Some Sintays, some Walkers, and some O'berrys. It was a lot of fun and really cool to see them again. We played a bit on our new play place. Its a pretty sweet play place. Sadly they have all gone by now.

Well that's it. Bye. Love, Kyle Patrick Barnhisel

July Letter

 Dear Family & Friends,

Hello everyone! I spent the majority of this month building our play place. It is really cool, and really big. I enjoyed building it, mostly. It did give me something to do, since most of my summer days include lots of down time. It does get a little boring when you are hauling trex back and forth for hours.

We had a family trip to Mount Rainier. We went on some cool hikes and stayed a cool little cabin. Mount Rainier was really cool. We couldn't hike that far up because there was still a lot of snow. The cabin we stayed at was a little cramped but fun to stay at for a couple of days. We also did some hikes through the rain forest. It was really cool. The trees are so massive. We also went and checked out some water falls.

After Rainier we headed to the coast. We stayed at a nice home right next to the coast. I definently prefer warm beaches over cold coasts but it was still pretty cool. The water was so freezing. We did travel along the coast to some different sites. We also found lots of sand dollars along the coast. We even tried to get a crab!

On our way to the airport to fly home, we stopped at Pikes Place. It was really neat. We got some tasty seafood and went on a Ferris wheel. We also got some ice cream. We then headed home and that was the end of our trip.

School is about to start. It actually has been a week of school for me as I'm writing this letter. First year of high school! Bye!

June Letter

 Dear Family & Friends

Hello everyone. I hope you all had a great July. My month started off with Fathers day. I am a lucky guy to have my dad. He might not be my best friend, but he is the best dad. He has helped me and continues to help me become a better man. I am so glad to have him as a father.

We finally got around to our house exterior. I helped with the demo of the rock at the front of our house. It was a lot of fun. I got to get a big hammer and break rocks, how much more fun can it get? We then replaced it with some nice white wood. It looks way better now.

You know how I said my dad isn't my best friend. Well its because he ditches me at home and goes to Germany, my favorite country besides the U.S. But whatever, I had a fun time here. I went to a soccer camp, which was a ton of fun. That was a nice rhyme wasn't it? It sorta just happened. The best rhymes. Well that's the extent of my June.

Well July has been great. But you're gonna have to wait till next letter. I guess you'll just be stuck on a cliffhanger. Wondering, pondering, why July has been so great. Bye!

May Letter

 Dear Family & Friends,

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a nice Mothers day. We had a nice Mothers day. Sam, Eric, and I all got up in church and sung a song for mom. I am so grateful for all my mom does for me. I'm so glad to have a mom like my mom.

My cousins came over for a little visit. We went down to this pond by our house. I also made some good food for dinner. I wish we had more hang outs with our cousins. They are pretty fun.

Sometimes you just have to get out of the house. We decided to go on a one night camping trip up Payson Canyon. It was very fun. We didn't do much, but it was still worth it. We went on a couple hikes, set up camp, roasted some hot dogs, and watched a movie.

On the way back from camping, we decided to go on a hike up to the grotto. It is this really cool place, plus, no one was there. The trail was kinda destroyed by a mud slide but we were able to make it to the grotto. Its crazy what mother nature can do.

I finally got out of school, and I finished my soccer season, so I haven't had much to do this month at home. I have gone to some jumping places quite a few times, and I went swimming. I love summer. Bye! Love, Kyle Patrick Barnhisel

April Letter

 Dear Family & Friends,

Hello everyone! We're finally starting to get out of winter. Of course, there is still the occasional snow storm. But that means we can go on four-wheeler rides now. We have some fun trials right behind our house. We sometimes just head out on a ride when dad wants to get out of the house. It's awesome that we can drive so close to our house.

We went to some really cool slot canyons for a day trip. It was fun to spiderman around the place and climb all over. Sometimes you just got to go and do something. We spent the night then drove home. It was really cool. The slot canyons were very long and narrow. It was a really cool trip.

We all went to Moab for jeep safari. It was kinda crowded but fun. I always love exploring a new house. We stayed in a cool condo. We went on lots of hikes where I scuttled up the rocks. We also went to the t-shirt shop where I got two really cool Moab t-shirts. We also did some jeeping. I wasn't much of a fan of the long 7 hour jeeping trip, but I did like going on Hell's Revenge. It was a very fun trip.

It also happened to be my birthday this month. I turned 14. I got a couple gifts from my parents including some shirts and money. I also had a fun soccer party, where I got the best gift of all, a Culvers gift card. I love Culvers so much. We had pizza and grapes and played a lot of soccer.

Well that's my month in a nutshell. I would say I'm getting good grades, but I happen to have an F in English right now. Oopsie. Mom was very pleased. Bye! Love, Kyle Patrick Barnhisel

March Letter

 Dear Family & Friends.

Hello everyone. This month, Sam had his 5th birthday. He had some rainbow ice cream. It is his favorite treat. He got some presents and had a lot of fun. Sam is slowly getting better as he grows up. He sure does love his rainbow ice cream!

It was also St. Patrick day. We had a special breakfast with green pancakes and green milk. I helped Sam set up a trap to catch the sneaky leprechauns that turned our food green. I don't know what is going on in this picture. I guess mom caught me when I was blinking,

Wow. There is only two pictures. Awesome! That's great. I hope you are all safe. Bye.

February Letter

 Dear Family & Friends,

Hello. I went to St. George for a soccer tournament. The house me and my family stayed in was pretty sweet. It had lots of fun games, and we had a team party here. We also went on a hike, and we obviously played lots of soccer. We played hard, and ended up winning the tournament by penalty shoot out in the final.

It snowed. What a joy. I shoveled. Wow. I guess actually I snow blowed. But same thing, right. I can't wait for spring.

I hope you are all safe and healthy. I currently have an F in German but I'm making it up. And Sam is currently beating the ground with a baseball bat. Bye. Love, Kyle Patrick Barnhisel

January Letter

 Dear Family & Friends,

Hi. We went tubing somewhere. But I can't remember where because I am currently writing this in February. We kinda forgot to write our letters. It was very fun. I think it was like soldier hollow or something. It was cool, (and cold), and I got to see some people I new.

My family was feeling a little stuffed up in the house so we went bowling at coin crazy. It was a lot of fun. I ended up basically losing but it was still a cool experience. Bowling has always been fun. We also ate pizza.

Well that's all. I hope you guys are safe and healthy. Bye. Love, Kyle Patrick Barnhisel

December Letter

 Dear Family & Friends,

I went to a cool polar express themed train for a festive train ride. We had hot chocolate, went to the north pole, and got a present from Santa. It was pretty fun.

We built a 2-D "Gingerbread House." Lets just say it was a good journey and it was pretty tasty to eat after. It almost worked. All you have to do is forget about my hand behind it holding it up. It sure does look like Sam had a great time. I do have to say, at least my tree was pretty good looking,
Shoveling... Not much to write about. It isn't really anything special. I had to put on a smile for the photos, but when your outside shoveling 3 times a day it isn't that cheerful. We did get a massive storm that a gave us a nice 20 inches of snow. We were outside shoveling for a quite a while that day.

We went to this cool village with lots of fun things to do and see. We had some treats, fought each other in a duel, and saw lots of cool old timey houses. It was pretty cool but they had heaters positioned around the village. It was a really big village filled with lots of cool things. I had a lot of fun. I guess they do lots of other events around the year which I would love to go to.

We had our annual Christmas party with my cousins. We did some minute to win it games, ate Italian food, (very delicious), and watched a movie. I had a lot of fun with my cousins, though not many are my age.

I tried skiing for the first time. Didn't really enjoy it that much. It was pretty fun when I got going. It just wasn't that fun when I crashed. I'm not really a snow person.

Christmas was pretty fun. I got some nice presents. But of course Christmas isn't all about presents. But for the sake of your entertainment and me finishing this letter quick, I'll just talk about Santa's slice of Christmas. I got a cool scooter. The best things I got was a nice shirt from Eric, and a game called Bohnanza.

Well happy new year! I hope you all have the best year. Love, Kyle Patrick Barnhisel
