Hello. This month I did summer soccer for the first time. It was fun playing against teams that were a challenge. I played up in a higher division but we still beat all the other teams. We lost one against a really good team but then we came back at the end of the season and beat them. It was fun playing soccer with all my buddies. I knew everyone on the team.
We went on a 4th of July hike to Lake Mary. It was fun climbing rocks and hiking around. I found a cool fortress. And then we went to the Brighton parade where people would ride around and through candy to us. I helped some of my younger cousins get candy.
We had a BBQ at our house that night with lots of our cousins. It was really fun to eat and play with my cousins!
Also for the 4th of July we shot off fireworks. It was really cool watching the fireworks and fun to light some fireworks. And the smoke bombs were fun!
I had my first cub camp this month. It was really fun hiking and doing other fun stuff like archery and we did an obstacle course and lots of other fun stuff. It was super fun!
It was fun going to Lagoon with my cousins the Walker's. It was fun going on the Cannibal and going on a bunch of rides. I like the bumper cars a lot!
Our family is really cause Eric got a pet parakeet. Her name is Sky. I like putting her on my arm and having her crawl up to my shoulder and down my back. It's really fun. We love to put her on the windowsill and watch her try to chase cars. It's really fun having her walk around when we play in Eric's room.
This month we had our O'Berry reunion at Grandpa Pat's house in Lovell, Wyoming.
We went on a boat tour and then played in the water. We had this cool raft that we loved to ride around on. It was fun swimming around and playing with my cousins!
We went to Billings to Uncle Ed's house. We played some games and then we went out to do cousin races and O'Berry Ninja Warriors. We would go through an obstacle course and do some different races. And then we did this really weird dance and did s'mores.
We went to Porcupine Falls as part of the reunion. It was fun climbing and finding cool caves. We found a cave that went super deep through the mountain all the way to the top of the mountain. My dad, brothers and some cousins cliff dived into the water. It was really funny watching them!
I thought the reunion was really good and I want to thank my Grandpa for making the reunion.
I can't wait for school to start up next month. It's been a really fun summer. Bye!
