Dear Family & Friends,
Happy New Year! How are you? I am doing great! I am now a Sunbeam and get to go to primary. I love to learn to sing songs in primary!
This month I have started some really fun things. I have started having preschool with my two best friends, Peter and Alex. We take turns at each others houses. We have a little lesson and then we have lots of recess!! At my house we learn letters and I can spell my whole name and have even learned to write my name. At my friend Alex's house we learn numbers and at my friend Peter's house we learn colors and shapes. I love going to school. In addition, mommy has started giving me reading lessons every morning using the same book she used to teach my brothers to read (Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons). I am doing great at it and am having fun learning to read!
I did get an ear infection this month which wasn't fun but we are hopeful that I will grow out of them soon. My tubes in my ears are almost out. I actually haven't had one in about 9 months so that is good. Hopefully I can be done with constant ear infections.
I have become very obsessed with the idea of growing up lately. I talk every day about how I am going to grow up and be a dad and have my own family, babies and kids and my own house and go to the temple. I am very bothered that I can't marry mom. She says she is already married to dad and that I can marry a different girl but that just doesn't work for me ... I want to marry my mom!
I am also obsessed with jet packs! Mom and dad have no idea where that came from but I often talk about wanting a jet pack so I can fly to church or wherever I want to go. Maybe when I grow up I will just have to invent a jet pack that can fly us all around.
I have my sweet moments but I have to admit that I can be quite a stinker as well ... I am 3 after all. When I don't get my way I complain about things not being fair. "It's not fair I have to eat my food!" "It's not fair that I have to take a nap!" And if I don't get my way I become very threatening. "If you don't let me have that, I will break the house!" I do get very specific, sometimes I threaten to break the house but specify that I won't break the beds, just the rest of the house. Sometimes I threaten to break the whole world! Or if I don't get my way I will go around and turn off all the lights on everyone and tell them that they have to be in the dark and never have lights AGAIN! I am VERY THREE!!
I like Factory guys. I like building 'em. I like getting Factories for my birthday. I love my room. And I like having dates on the train with dad because I never been on the train. I love trains. And I love having a house and I don't like being sick. I really want to marry someone so I can get on the temple. Because I never been to the temple. Because I love the temple. I like staying with my mom for a date. And I love going to McDonalds because you get to eat there. Because I like eating. I want to be in real school but we are in fake school. Real school is the school outside. And I really want to go to real school. My school now I go to my house then Peter's and then Alex's house. I love building a jetpack so I can fly. I am going to try it out when I'm going to build it and then I am going to put it in the garage and fly it everywhere and we can just fly to somewhere we nont to go if we all have jet packs. that would be fun if we all had jet packs. I like play dates but I don't like sleeping because that is boring and you don't get to do anything.
