October Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Happy Halloween!!  Did you have a great Halloween?  I sure did.  I had a great month of October.  We were all pirates for Halloween this year, even mom and dad!  It was super fun!  I love trick-or-treating!!  I got lots of yummy candy.  I love to run with my brothers as fast as I can (I do my best to keep up).

This month we did lots of fun things like go up to hunting camp with dad for the day. It was at Strawberry reservour and we got to shoot guns (I just got to watch) and ride the 4-wheelers. We also spent some time at Gardner Village visiting the witches this month which is something that we do every October. And dad even took a day off of work one day and took me and my brothers to the zoo. I hadn't been to the zoo before and I really liked it, especially the elephants!!

We went to Uncle Ryan's pumpkin patch and picked pumpkins and then brought them home and carved them.

We also celebrated Brandon's birthday this month and got to make silly faces on cakes.  It was super fun!

We also had our super fun family Halloween party at our house on Saturday night. Lots of my cousins came and we got to bob for apples, eat doughnuts off a string and eat a lot of junk. There were lots of soups and other good food there but I settled for desserts and rolls. Yum!!

Mommy went back to work this month part time for her old job.  She is just helping them through their busy season so she will probably just work until around the end of the year and then she will be back home with me.  I don't mind it too much.  I go to two friends houses during the day.  I go to Little Josh's house during the morning and am helping to teach him how to share since he is only 1 1/2 and an only child so he isn't used to sharing.  Then in the afternoon I go to Peter's house.  I love Peter's house and he is one of my very best friends so that is really fun.  The only bad thing is that I don't usually get my nap during the week because I am not home and so by the time mommy gets home I tend to be tired and crabby.  And for some reason, when I am tired and crabby, I forget how to do pretty much everything.  "I don't know how" to wash my hands, put on my shoes, open a door ... all the things that I full well know how to do, when I am tired and missing my mommy, I forget them all.  Luckily I have been really good about still getting my naps on the weekends so mommy hopes that once she is done working I will still take my afternoon nap like I normally have done.

I like the cabin.  I like the gym.  I like Alex' house.  I like Peter's house.  I like little Josh's house.  I like to flay.  I like to jump.  I like to flay in the party, I like the party.  I like, eat cake.  I like getting candy.  Yeah, I do.  I like Peter and my family.  I like to play with my friends.  I like to play with spot, my light saber and I just flay with those two.  I like to flay with Eric's LEGOs.  I like to flay with Brandon's LEGOs.  I like to flay with my LEGOs.  I like to go to some parties.  I like taking pictures.  I like flaying 'puter. (playing computer)  I like to draw pictures.  I like to like, play downstairs in the toyroom.  Bye.  I love you!

(Italics are direct quotes from Kyle when asked what he would like to say.  It was hard to get him to stop!)

I hope that you are all doing well and looking forward to the holidays.
