October Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello everyone!  Hope you are doing well.  This has been a very fun month.  I FINALLY started preschool this month.  I love it!!  I love being a Jr Jag. 

 

On the evening before my 2nd day of school, mom laid out clothes for me for school the next morning.  I went to the closet to get my Jr. Jag sweatshirt out.  Mom told me that I didn't have to wear it everyday.  I looked at her, puzzled, and said "But then I won't look like a Jr. Jag, I'll just be a regular human."

 

I may have just started school but I am quite the math whiz already.  One day, Eric was doing his math homework.  He asked mom, "Is 8 + 8 = 15?"  She told him no.  He recalced and figured it out.  Then out of the blue I said "Is it 9 + 6 equals 15?"  I love to count and will count well past 100 every time we are out driving.  I can also write all my letters and am learning how to read.  I am a smart cookie! :)

 

 

I love my dog Chunky.  I often tell mom "Thanks for getting me Chunky" or "Chunky is important to me."

I am supposed to do household chores everyday.  I am also responsible for keeping my room clean.  One morning mom asked me if I had finished cleaning my room.  I told her "It is clean. ... Are you going to check the closet?"

I talk a lot about "When I am a Dad".  While driving around the other day, I told mom "Mom, when I am a dad, I will want a van for Christmas.  Because you got this van for Christmas."  Mom told me that she didn't get the van for Christmas, that they just got it when they needed it.  So I told her "Ok, then I will just save my money and buy my own van when I have enough money."

I love to volunteer to say the family prayer or the meal prayers.  We often pray for Grandpa Don's leg to get better and also for him to stop smoking.   But sometimes it's hard to keep all my grandma's and grandpa's straight.  In one particular prayer, I prayed "Please bless Grandpa O'Berry's leg to stop smoking."  Mom & dad had a hard time being reverent during that prayer.
 

We got pumpkins from Uncle Ryan's pumpkin patch which was super fun.

We of course went to Gardner Village this month in our costumes and took pictures with the witches.  We were all characters from Harry Potter this year.  I was Draco Malfoy.  Too cute to be a villian. :)

We of course had our annual Halloween party at our house.  It was so much fun.  We ate doughnuts off a string, did a pinata and played with our cousins.  It was great!!

And on Halloween I really scored!  I went to a trunk-or-treat in our circle first and then went trick-or-treating to get even more candy.  Daddy had to be out of town all week for work so we went trick-or-treating with our friends the Danielson's.  Their dad took us around to trick-or-treat while mom & Rachel gave out candy.  I love having treat fests and eating lots of treats!!

Hi.  I was trick-or-treating.  I went with my friends, Kade, Jace and their dad and Eric comed over and me was there.  I got a lot of candy but I was just tired.  I really liked it.  I really like preschool.  I go trick-or-treating at preschool, my own school.  I made a lot of new friends and a lot of new teachers.  I really like it.  It's fun.  We get to play with these little toys.  I really like preschool.  We had a Halloween party with our family at my house.  I really liked it.  It was fun.  It was actual fun.  We ate doughnuts off a string and it was super fun.  I was Draco Malfoy for Halloween.  He's from Harry Potter.  He is a bad guy.  Even Eric was Ron for Halloween and Brandon was Harry for Halloween.  Mom was Hermione for Halloween and dad was Hagrid for Halloween and we got a lot of candy.  I liked it.  Even I got some for my mom. Bye Bye.  See you next time.
