July Letter

 Dear Family & Friends,

Hello everyone! I spent the majority of this month building our play place. It is really cool, and really big. I enjoyed building it, mostly. It did give me something to do, since most of my summer days include lots of down time. It does get a little boring when you are hauling trex back and forth for hours.

We had a family trip to Mount Rainier. We went on some cool hikes and stayed a cool little cabin. Mount Rainier was really cool. We couldn't hike that far up because there was still a lot of snow. The cabin we stayed at was a little cramped but fun to stay at for a couple of days. We also did some hikes through the rain forest. It was really cool. The trees are so massive. We also went and checked out some water falls.

After Rainier we headed to the coast. We stayed at a nice home right next to the coast. I definently prefer warm beaches over cold coasts but it was still pretty cool. The water was so freezing. We did travel along the coast to some different sites. We also found lots of sand dollars along the coast. We even tried to get a crab!

On our way to the airport to fly home, we stopped at Pikes Place. It was really neat. We got some tasty seafood and went on a Ferris wheel. We also got some ice cream. We then headed home and that was the end of our trip.

School is about to start. It actually has been a week of school for me as I'm writing this letter. First year of high school! Bye!

Love, Kyle Patrick Barnhisel
