Dear Family & Friends,
Happy Fall!! I love fall. We have had a fun September, I hope you have too. At the beginning of the month we went up to the cabin over Labor Day weekend and went to the Fort Bridger Mountain Man Rendezvous. It was super fun. Aunt Amy, Ian and Ledger met us up there. It was great!
We also got to play with lots of our cabin cousins who were up at the cabin over the weekend. It was awesome!
Mom has continued to compile the funny things that I say. Here are the latest:
- One day, I came home from my friend Peter's house. Mom asked me why I came home and I said: “You know what Peter thinks? He thinks shows are important. I told him that shows are not important, that moms and dads, brothers, Heavenly father and Jesus Christ are important.”
- Mom sent me downstairs to clean the toy room on morning. I came up and said: “But there are so many papers and I only have 2 hands. Can't we just do it yesterday? Another yesterday? After the last night. When are we going to play Skipbo?" Mom told me we could play when I had the toy room cleaned up and my reply was. "It's not like I have 12 arms. It's like I have only 2 arms."
- One day my friend Hailey was over for a play date. When her mom Alena came to pick her up I noticed that she had dyed her usually blong hair brown. I looked at her and at my mom and said: "Brown – brown, two browns, you match. I don't even know which one is my mom.
- All day long I ask mom "Wanna play Skipbo with me?" Skipbo is my favorite game and I am really good at it. I deal it out and have get it set up for mom all day long.
- And my favorite thing to do is to sing the Primary song "Nephi's Courage". I sing it pretty much all day long.
I hope that you are happy and healthy and that I get to see you soon.
Love Kyle Patrick Barnhisel
