December Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hi! I'm Kyle.  This Christmas we had a Ward Christmas Party and we got to see Santa!!  I said that I wanted a new soccer ball.  And we ate breakfast.

We went to visit our Grandma and went to Chuck-A-Rama.  I nearly got sick!  But it was AWESOME!!  We gave Grandma a present, she loved it!  I think that Grandma is a great woman!

We had a party at Aunt Melissa's house.  And Uncle Brian gave me a BIG BIG BIG lollipop!  

We opened presents at the party.  I got a Bash Ball from my cousin Dylan.  I had so much fun!!!

On Christmas morning I got just what I wanted ... a SOCCER BALL!!  I loved this Christmas!

For this Christmas we got a RZR!!  We can't wait to take it up to the cabin!  Christmas is a happy holiday where Uncles, Grandpas and cousins come over to your house.  

After we opened our presents we went to Grandma Chris' house and we got a present.  I got a remote control car.  I love it!!  Unce Unce Unce!!!

And before the end of the year ... I finally lost a TOOOOOOOTTTTTHH!!!!  I look older now!

November Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello.  This month we went to Los Alamos to visit our cousins.  On the way there we stopped at a hotel in Moab.  In Moab we swimmed at the hotel and we ate at Moab.  At Moab we went on a hike and me and my brothers tried to climb to the top of the mountain.

When we were in Los Alamos we celebrated my dad's birthday and Uncle Steve & Aunt Erin's anniversary.

And of course we celebrated Thanksgiving.  We had a Thanksgiving feast at Los Alamos.  I helped make the turkey for Thanksgiving feast.

It was so yummy.  My favorite part was the rolls!!

After we stuffed ourselves we went on a little hike.  It was so fun and the weather was so warm.  

While we were there me and the boys chopped wood and after me and the boys chopped wood we went to the gas station and got candy!!  And we went to a cool science museum. I loved being with my cousins.

October Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello.  My name is Kyle.  This month was Halloween.  We went to Gardner Village and I was Captain America for Halloween.  My brother Brandon was Thor and my brother Eric was Iron Man. And my dad was Hulk and my mom was Black Widow.  We had so much fun at Gardner Village.

We had a family Halloween party.  We had so much fun.  Our Aunts and Uncle and Grandpas came.  At the party we ate!  And we took pictures.  And we made caramel apples and we decorated them.

At school on Halloween we had a parade and after that we had a party and it was so fun.  At it we got to eat snacks and after it we got to do some Halloween dancing.

When I went Trick-or-Treating I got a lot of candy!!!  I went with my dad and we stayed out for 2 hours!  It was so fun when I got to pour out my candy.

We got pumpkins from our Uncle Ryan who has a big pumpkin patch.  And we carved them.  Mine looked kinda like Dracula.  

I also had my belt test and belt ceremony.  I earned my ORANGE BELT!!!  And also I have a few friends in my class: Kaden, Kome, Peyton & Paxton, the twins.  And at the belt ceremony we got to do a dumbo (demo).  In the demo some black belts tried to beat us up but we beat them up instead of getting beat up.  And one time I did a back kick and I turned around and did a front kick and knocked out Master Damion.

September Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hi!  This month I was on a soccer team with all my friends I have (friends that are boys).  Some of their names were Alex, Peter, Kade, Max, Alek, Jesse, Caioss and Garrett.  Our team name was the Red Phoenix.  Our streak was four wins and 1 tie and 3 losses.  I like to score goals when I am at a game.

We went to my daddy's family reunion up in the mountains.  We played tons of card games ... it was EPIC!!!!

We went to Chuck-A-Rama with Aunt Phyllis and Grandma Norberg.  I ate like 2 slurpees, 1 ice cream and 3 cookies and some bread and some fries and lots of stuff.  I had a great time at Chuck-A-Rama!!

I hope sometime you will get to go to Chuck-A-Rama and get to play soccer.  Goodbye!

August Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello.  This month I went to my cabin with my friends back in the neighborhood, their names are Alex, Kade, Jace & baby Erik.  It was so fun because I had so much fun playing at the fort we found, playing at the river, riding 4-wheelers and we even started building more onto our fort.

And this month, I got back into school.  It is so fun.  I am in 1st grade.  My teacher is Ms Tonge and my classmates that I know are Alek, Tayah, Sophia and Aiden who is moving.  My favorite subject is math.  My second favorite subject is RECESS!  I get to play SOCCER!!!

This month we went to a Broncos game in Denver.  It was so fun!  We even got to stay with our grandpa.  And we even got to take some LEGOs.  And we tried to find a rabbit but we didn't find it.

We went up to the cabin again for Labor Day weekend.  I got to ride a pony named Sugar.  And I got to have 2 parties with my cabin family.  And I got to build more on the fort and I got to stand on the top floor.  And we made a pond!

I hope someday you'll get in school and I hope that someday you will get to ride a pony. Bye Bye!

July Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello.  This July we did fireworks like we always do.  We had so much fun.  Daddy, Uncle Steve & Uncle Ed got us lots of fireworks.  It was so fun, I had like my cousins, Grandpa Pat ... lots of people over.  On the 4th of July it's so fun.

We went to Beaver to go camping.  I had so much fun.  We played card games, we built fires, we went 4-wheeling, we did soccer, we went fishing ... but we didn't catch any fish.  We had smores.  At there I thought of making a giant smores.  4 graham crackers, a giant marshmallow and chocolate.  It was so yummy!!!!

Uncle Brian took me to the zoo.  We had so much fun there.  I saw: 3 lions, 4 zebras, snakes, monkeys, the other kind of monkeys ... It was so much fun.  We even had lunch there.  We had a giant pizza, only one piece of pizza, we had a drink, we even had rice crispy treats!!

I go to the pool a lot.  My friend Alex and I like to jump into the deep parts and swim back.  I am learning how to swim.  I like to do torpedo jumps.  It's where I jump and then when I swim back I do it like a torpedo.  I like to use the water guns and even swim under water with goggles.  Peter comes to the pool with us a lot too.  I like to play at the pool with Peter and Alex.

I got my red belt in karate.  I used to be a brown belt.  And I had so much fun at my belt test and my belt ceremony.

In summer I have so much fun.  I also like playing with my brothers, my friends, everyone.  I like to play LEGOs and Pokemon and jump on the tramp with my friends and brothers.  I play soccer in the backyard with Brandon.

June Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello!  On June we had Father's Day.  I really love my dad.  He's such a nice guy.  Even though sometimes he is gone I still like to talk about him and he's a really nice dad.

I am learning to swim with your legs back and your arms forward.  And I can do this cool thing, I swim on my back pushing my legs back to the other side.  And sometimes I like to swim like with your arms up and your legs pushing up so you can get up and you can swim.

I love to do sprinkler under the tramp.  My friends like playing with me on it too.  And I like playing with Alex.  He is one of my best friends.

I like hiking.  On one hike we found tons of weird things like shovels, a water bottle, we found a grill ...

On Eric's birthday we had waffles with whipped cream and M&Ms and powdered sugar.  One time he even sprayed the whipped cream in his mouth.  I liked Eric's birthday party.  It was so fun with all the sprinklers on.

May Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello.  In May we had baby ducks hatch in our backyard.  And we carefully lifted them over the fence and we had so much fun and we even took pictures with them.  They were so cute!

In May we had Mother's Day.  It was so fun.  We got to have a yummy breakfast with french toast and sausage.  We went to church that day.  I really love my mom.  She is so nice.

At Eric's Pinewood Derby we had banana cars that we got to race.  I came first place in the first one and then in the next one I got third because my banana was crooked.  It was so much fun watching Eric race.

At the cabin we had sword fighting on the log.  It as so fun.  I got to be the one that said "Ready, Set, Go!"

We had dump truck racing.  I was doing it backwards and I crashed sometimes and didn't crash sometimes.

We did shooting.  I shot one right in the back, it was super close.

I had so much fun throwing rocks down at the river and I had fun hanging out at Grandma Ginger's cabin and playing with my cabin cousins.

At Field Days we got to have these tick tack toe boards and we got to throw frisbees with X's and O's.  We got to have these little plungers and we would grab a sponge and we would toss them into the plumbers pants.  And one time I made it.  Actually 2 times I made it.  And we even got to do these races where we try to grab the marbles with our toes.

At home we have such a fun time playing with our brothers and playing with our friends.

April Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello!  This month I have been in soccer and this day was when I scored 3 goals!  And my team name is the Thunderbolts.  On this team there is me and Alex and Peter and Kylee and Sophie and Garrett and Taylor and some others.  I have been scoring lots of goals this month.  And I am like the fastest kid on my team. And I have been scoring in my whole entire thing, 8 goals!!

When we had Spring Break we got to go to Lava Hot Springs.  First we saw when we were going to Lava Hot Springs we saw this little pool that was private so we could go in there.  And this was a bad thing that happened.  Brandon accidentally pulled me into the deep part and I drownded but then dad pulled me out. Lava Hot Springs was fun.  We went to this indoor pool that was super fun and there was even a really really really hot tub.  And at Lava Hot Springs there were rocks on the floors but some pools just had rocks that were flat.

Birthday party!!!!  This is all my friends I've listed on my birthday party:  Garrett, Alex, Alek, Jesse, Caioss and Peter.  Mom got us a bouncy house and mom got us a chocolate fountain!!  And mom made some little chick things that you could dip in the chocolate fountain and marshmallows and pretzels and oreos.  I turned SIX years old!

Easter Egg Hunt!!!  This April we had a Easter Egg hunt at Aunt Melissa's.  I choose a soccer ball pattern so I had to find the soccer balls and we each got a golden egg.  And then for the 2nd round we got to find just plain eggs and then we had another Easter Egg hunt at our house and it had Easter M&M's and jelly beans.

We celebrated my birthday with the family at the Easter party.  It was so fun.  I got this LEGO set and I got bath toys.  And I got a Aquabot.

We did painting Easter eggs and I kept just using colors and painting it over one egg and we could eat them and they were kinda weird ... but I don't really like them.

We celebrate Easter because it was the day when Jesus Christ had resurrection.  Jesus teached everyone about him and He was the son of God and God knew he would be the King of the Jews.

I went to belt test and I earned my brown belt.  What I had to do to earn my brown belt is first: kicks; second: kick boxing "patterin"; third: front kick combo.

This April we had a Fun Run at the school.  We had to go 4 laps around the back yard of the school and then we could be free to EAT!!  Eric did the 5K and there was a little accident, he runned around part of it 2 times.
