November Letter

 Dear Family & Friends,

Hello! I have had as great a month as anyone can get right now. I've been hanging out at home nearly all day. My family does puzzles, game, and watch lots of shows. I've been finding ways to spend the day, but I still can't wit for all this to blow over.

I had a great Thanksgiving with my cousins, The Sintays, and had a nice break from school. The Sintays and I had a great time playing all types of games. We all went to this cool park and had a lot of fun there. The Thanksgiving feast was delicious as always, and we had a lot of extra turkey for leftovers.

I decorated the downstairs Christmas tree this month. Me and Sam decorated the tree all by ourselves. We also put up our Christmas lights and decor. Our Christmas tree looked beautiful after it was fully decorated, and I'm finally getting into the Christmas spirit!

Well that was my November in a nut shell. But there was still so much more. I hope you had a good Thanksgiving, and I wish you a Merry Christmas. Bye!

October Letter

 Dear Family & Friends,

Hello! I went on a hunting trip with my dad and friends. We didn't get anything, but it was fun to camp with my dad. I shot a gun and a bow and arrow. I ate some yummy food and enjoyed hunting.

I went to St. George and found these awesome caves that I explored pretty far down. There was a ton of graffiti and glowsticks. I stayed in an awesome house with some friends, and they had a private pool! I swam, played pickleball and ping-pong.

I carved some pumpkins for Halloween. My pumpkin sucked, because I cut it's entire face off. Sam helped scoop the guts out of his pumpkin, and dad carved the pumpkin. We put candles in the pumpkins and made jack-a-lanterns.

Sadly, My soccer season ended. The last game of the season was confusing. To sum it up, the other team forfeited. The just started walking off. I had no clue we won for a bit.We ended undefeated. We won all of our games, except two games which we tied. I am so excited to start indoor season.

As you know, it's halloween. I dressed up as Napoleon Dynamite. For halloween I still went trick-or-treating. I got a lot of candy. I went with some friends. I also had a party at my house. I left in the middle of it because none of my friends came. Just little kids.

Bye then. I hope you had a good October. I hope you'll have an even better november.

September Letter

 Dear Family & Friends,

Hello. School has been pretty fun. I'm progressing a lot in band and art. I'm doing good in math, language arts, and science. I get free lunch which is pretty nice.

I went up to our neighbors ranch for a day and I rode a mule. I had smores, I read my book, and I rode on the four wheeler a lot. It was really fun. I loved making the campfire. Then I got some delicious smores.

I rode my four-wheeler with Sam and Chowder up the canyon with the rest of my family. When the trail got harder, we walked up. We found some rocks and climbed up the canyon wall. It was really fun to climb. Chowder climbed with me.

I have had a nice month. I hope you do too. Bye,

Love, Kyle P. Barnhisel

August Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello! I have had a great month. I started middle school this month. My school is really cool. I have to wear a mask, but otherwise it is okay. I have lots of fun classes and friends. I can't wait for the end of school though!

WE FINISHED OUR BACKYARD! It looks so cool with the water feature and rock wall. We are still doing minor things to finish up, but the main part is in. It looks so much better then when we first moved in. It took us only one year since we moved in to put in our downstairs and our backyard.

This month me and my soccer team played two tournaments. We the first one in a landslide, easily destroying team after team. I got a pretty cool medal and I had a lot of fun playing. The next tournament was much harder. We had some pretty close shaves. Some of them we only won by one. But, we made it to the finals. I have never had a closer shave. We started out early and got up ahead by one. Then, near the end, they scored and tied it up. We went into overtime and scored pretty quickly. but then, they scored in the final minutes and tied it up again. So then we went to P.K.s. We scored our first three and so did they. Then both of our teams missed. Then our player scored and the other player missed. It was then my turn. If I scored this penalty kick, our team would win. That's a lot of pressure. I set it up. The goalkeeper got in position. Then I shot. I went for the bottom right corner but the goalie dove that way too. But the shot was too fast. It skimmed off his fingers and went right in to the bottom corner. We had won the tournament. We celebrated pretty wildly. After, My family celebrated at Red Robins.

Well bye.

July Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello! As you know, we had fourth of july this month. We had a nice breakfast with a couple of other families and friends! I ate a lot then played with some friends. We tried to rebuild a wooden fort and we did pretty well! I'm so glad to live in this country and I am proud to be an American.

I had so much fun when I went to yellowstone! I went river rafting with my family and cousins and I has so much fun! Though it was sorta' wet and cold. I then helped set up our tent and had a lot of my awesome cousins. In yellowstone we went and checked lots of cool geysers including seeing old faithful erupt! It was so cool seeing in shoot up! Then we went on a guided fishing trip and I caught two super big fish! But we couldn't keep them though. Yellowstone was amazing, and it was only the second time I went. The first time I was just a little baby!

I had a soccer tournament this month. We won all our games and won a super cool medal and an awesome trophy! I love my team and my team is really good at soccer. The tournament was fun and in between I went to a birthday party for a kid I haven't seen in two years!

We are starting to put in our backyard! It is looking so cool! We've got an amazing water feature and we are getting an awesome yard. I can't wait for it to be done. It will be so fun. The only problem is it means a lot of hard work!

Well that wraps up my month. This month was awesome and I hope yours is awesome too! Bye! Love, Kyle Patrick Barnhisel

June Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello! I hope you've had a nice june. I have had a great month. Sam and I love to play with legos! We make food, and ships, and houses, and we have a great time! We made a ketchup bottle, a mustard bottle, a hotdog, and a burger!

I am on a great soccer team! We play lots of scrimmages, and have lots of practices. My team is very fun and nice and I love to play soccer with them. It's one of the only fun things I can do right now!

Me and my family went to Idaho on a trip. We checked out lots of waterfalls and met with some friends! I had such a fun time on our trip and can't wait for the next one at yellowstone!

I have been going to lots of fun places including reservoirs, lakes, springs, waterfalls, and much more! During this time we have been exploring the world around us a lot. I love it!

My favorite cousins came over too. We had lots of fun together playing minecraft, going to the pond, going to waterfalls, and jumping on the tramp! Me and Vivian climbed so much at the waterfall. It was so much fun! It's too bad they live in New Mexico!

This month I have been cooking a lot. From a wide variety of doughs including pretzels, french bread, breadsticks, pizza, and beef wellington!

We are getting the worlds cutest burnie doodle puppy named charlie. He is the only one in his litter and gets pampered a lot so he's pretty chubby.

Me and my friends have taken up cooking. We cook a lot at various houses. We make lots of different delicious food.

That is my month. I hope you are all doing well and happy. Bye!

Love, Kyle Patrick Barnhisel

May Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello! I've had a really nice month. I have been doing lots of airsoft wars with my friends. I got a really nice gun that I use. We go to many places to do our wars and we have some pretty big wars with lots of people and guns. Most of us have pistols but some of us have nice assault gun. I've got some nice ammo to use. They are super fun and we can get some good exercise during this time.

We got a new white hammock. We've got it by our driveway and it is a nice place for me to read my books. The hammock is pretty nice and hasn't broken yet so I beileve it is high quality.

It was also mothers day this month, (as you probably already know), and we had a nice calm day, (except for when mom said I had to get changed into nice clothes), and we celebrated my amazing mom. She is so kind and I love her very much.

I went to our neighbors cabin. We went on some adventurous four-wheeler rides, ate delicious snacks, and played lots of fun games with the deweys. We had lots of fun there and I can't wait to go again another time!

I've been going to salem pond a lot lately. I go with my friends and family. I got a nice kayak to play on and it is really fun to go there. I like to play games on the grass too. Sometimes I'll play football, or baseball, or sometimes frisbee with my friends. At the pond there's also a fun park that I play on sometimes. The pond is a great place for me to get exercise, and get a tan. I always welcome a trip to the pond!

I went on a adventure with my family and went to a grotto near me. It's so cool to have these things super close to me in the mountains. I love to climb around and go on hikes with my family. I found the best walking stick in the world, (except dad can argue that his curved stick is better!).

Well, that's my month in a nutshell, (or a paper). I hope you had a good month and I hope you are still keeping up during this time.

April Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello! I have had a very interesting month. I got a new basketball hoop that keeps me busy on the long boring days. It is very nice and durable. I like to shoot. It keeps me fresh and active. Because most of the day I'm not active.

Another thing I like to do is go on rides in my four-wheeler. I am pretty good at driving four-wheelers. I like to go on rides in the nature near my house. I usually go on small rides, but it is still very fun. It helps to get out of the house for a change.

We have been doing lots of yard work these days. We are getting ready to put our yard in so we have been doing quite a bit more work. We have been taking down trees, grabbing sticks, and killing weeds. One job was to take out all the weeds by our porch. It was pretty hard to get the roots out.

We have been going on lots of adventures. We went up a canyon and climbed a bit on the red rocks. Then we found a little stream and let sam throw rocks. The great thing was that it was so close to our house. We have so many cool places all around us.

We have been doing stuff with our neighbors the Deweys. We make treats, jump on tramps, and go on walks a lot with them. There really close and we both enjoy the extra company. Because we haven't got much of that lately.

I had a surprise birthday party this month. I was planning on a pretty boring birthday, but I got a drive-up birthday party! After, I did a airsoft war. This got me into airsoft and I have done many wars since. I got a pistol for my birthday. It was pretty good. Nothing compared to the gun I bought.

This is the gun I bought. An electric FULL-Automatic air rifle. It works perfectly and is really good. It shoots very fun and destroys in airsoft wars. I bought for $52.

We built a sandbox for sam. We got free sand and built him a nice place to play. We then got him lots of toys to play with.

We have been going on lots of walks lately. I still think they aren't the funnest. And many times I will be reluctant, but it is good exercise. Sam loves walks, and we go on lots of them.

That's all for this crazy month. I hope you are staying sane during this time. I hope we will all stay healthy and be safe. Bye! Love, Kyle Patrick Barnhisel
